Parent Group
We meet every Tuesday 9:30am - 11:00am at the school
with some additional activities in the school holidays.
What does this look like?
- Twice a month on a Tuesday we meet for a 'brew and a biscuit' over a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits or cake.
- Twice a month we invite a guest to share strategies or information on a subject decided by the group.
Brew and Biscuit
Time to meet other parents and carers, get to know each other and share stories.
Sometimes we spend a few minutes sharing on a specific subject, with staff in school popping in to share or answer questions.
Sometimes there are resources avaliable to look at/ take and other times things such as a winter coat sale by donation only.
Today is a 'Brew and Biscuit' with a chance to meet Claire, our ECO lead, for a
10min chat on our ECO journey so far...
Guests
Guests are/ will be invited to speak on a range on subjects. The subjects are decided by you- with ideas coming from the group, Annual Reviews, questions to teachers or questions regularly asked to the office staff.
Our next guests on Tuesday 3rd October, are
Manchester Healthy Schools, Jodi (our nurse) and Siohban (SaLT) talking about 'Healthy Eating'
School Holiday Events
We ran our first school holiday event over the summer. A group of staff and parents/ carers met at Wythenshawe Park for a Simply Cycling session and a picnic in the park afterwards. It was lovely to see everyone and we hope to run more events like this during other holidays!
