Bluebells 2019 - 2020
Bluebells Class teacher
Welcome to Bluebells class page. This is where I can share lots of information, photos and exciting news about our class!
While some of us are off school I will also be using this space to share what we have been working on in school and give you some ideas of things you can do at home to keep up-to-date and stop you getting bored!
There are some great music sessions which use things you find in the house. Click the link to try https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ngv0Cor4iA
Bluebells are going to start independence Wednesdays where each week on a Wednesday I will post a new visual schedule to support children to learn a different aspect of independent living. It might be a life skill such as washing or loading the dishwasher or a basic recipe for making a snack. *NEW!* Visuals for cheese on toast.
A great resource shared by one of our parents for making sensory kits at home: https://www.variety.org.uk/free-kits-support-children-sensory-needs-home?fbclid=IwAR3eepITTiR0CvHml6pyqCEFduYqY5e9NkKNTzHtZ4gVVY0-aAPTl_FXAHU
*NEW!* Sports Week this week- click the link on the main page for ideas and how to get involved!
Another feature of your user area is 'Scrapbook'. You can use it to upload pictures, text and videos to show me what you have been doing. When something is posted in a scrapbook, I can see it and comment on it. Only you, me and admin (not public) can see it so it is a nice but safe way to share information (see attached guide if you want to give it a go).
There are also some useful website learning links on the coronavirus page and some visuals to support understanding.
I will also be emailing all parents with your pupil log in so you can access your own page for activities, work and website links which are suitable for you. Please look out for this soon.
Keep calm and stay safe,
Emma and the Bluebells team
