Secondary Level Students

Lancasterian school’s Secondary department covers the Key Stage 3 (ages 11-14) and Key Stage 4 (ages 15 and 16) areas of the curriculum. At this stage of their school career each student is encouraged to independently follow a five-lesson per day timetable taught by a variety of teachers.

Our Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils are encouraged to become involved in our school council – a body which allows the student body to contribute to the running of the school. What’s more, two school council members are invited to contribute to the Manchester Young People Council at Manchester town hall.

Our Secondary stage curriculum covers the following areas:

  • English
  • Mathematics
  • Modern Foreign Language (French)
  • Careers Guidance
  • Life Skills
  • Outdoor and Leisure Pursuits
  • Personal Independence Development
