Manchester Travel Training Partnership
Travel training is designed to help young people with special needs to get more from life by giving them the confidence and skills to travel independantly using public transport.
Travel training helps to develop a range of practical and social skills in a hands-on setting by teaching young people how to get to and from school. It also prepares them for journeys they may make as they get older. This could include going to college, a work experience placement, employment, accessing health facilities and leisure and recreational opportunities.
