Extra Curricular Activities

At Lancasterian we are always aiming to develop the skills and interests of our pupils by providing them with a wide variety of extra curricular sports and activities for them to participate in. The activities we offer are varied to meet the individual needs of our pupils these include Wheelchair dancing, cheerleading, athletics, Boccia, table cricket and the Kielder challenge.

Throughout the year the pupils are given opportunities to progress in their chosen activities and sports by entering regional and national competitions and in recent years our teams have won the junior national athletics as competitors of the North West team, we came 3rd at the regional cricket heats in 2009 and won 4 shields at the national wheelchair dance championships in 2008.
