Achievements of the Lancasterian school

Over the past century, the Lancasterian school has become an integral part of our local community. Our achievements in the field of specialist education and care allow us to support and nurture children with additional needs throughout Manchester.

We have developed our role of supporting pupils in mainstream schools, operating the Lancasterian Barrier Free Partnership to develop and promote the inclusion of pupils with additional needs in mainstream schools throughout the city.

Our efforts have not gone unnoticed, and recent Ofsted reports have noted that

“local primary and secondary schools receive excellent support from the LBFP”, and that we offer

“very high quality teaching which ensures the pupils achieve well.”

By continuing to achieve above and beyond government requirements and our own high standards, we are certain that we can service the needs of pupils far into the future.
